When James Nash discovered gold in 1867, he saved the state of Queensland (Australia) from bankruptcy. The small country town just two hours north of the capital Brisbane was originally named NASHVILLE. Each year, just outside the little town of Amamoor, about an hour away from the original Nashville site, the world renowned Toyota Country Music Muster is celebrated with a great line-up of country music stars from all over Australia, as well as international artists, including performers from Nashville Tennessee.
